Plans are coming together for the 61st Northumberland Scottish Festival and Highland Games on June 20th and 21st, 2025 and it’s time to share some news!

We strive to make our event as affordable as possible so this year you’ll be able to attend our two Ceilidhs free of charge!  Local band, Madman’s Window, is returning and will perform again on Friday night.  We’re excited to introduce Devil’s Brigade, whose energetic brand of Celtic music has electrified audiences on three continents for years; they’ll be doing their thing in Port Hope on Saturday evening.  You can get all the details about the Ceilidhs here.

Early bird tickets will be available soon for the day-long Highland Games on Saturday and at $20 they’re a steal!  Remember that under 12’s are admitted free, and our Wee Highlander area has a ton of activities to keep them occupied.

Keep checking back for the latest news or follow us on Instragam and Facebook.

Our Festival is run completely by volunteers, and we rely solely on proceeds from ticket sales, grants, donations and sponsors to fund the event. We’re grateful for the generosity shown by many businesses and individuals through the years.  Having your support is so important to our continued success. Please consider joining our committee, becoming a volunteer or sponsor and let’s celebrate the 2025 Northumberland Scottish Festival and Highland Games together!
