Pipe and Drum Band Competitions

The Northumberland Scottish Festival & Highland Games will be held on June 20th and 21st  2025 at the Port Hope Agricultural Park.

Check out the photos from our 2024 Games here.

Solo Piping and Drumming competitions will start on Saturday June 21st at 8:30 a.m. with a short break for our Opening Ceremonies at 11.45 a.m. when you need to take in the sights and sounds of the Massed Bands performing.

The skirl of the Pipes and the beat of the drums will fill the Park during the Massed Bands, and the Band competitions from Grade 1 to Grade 5, for titles and prizes all afternoon.

Join the bands after the competitions, in the refreshment tent to cheer on the winning bands of each level.

We are a member of the Pipers and Pipe Band Society of Ontario (PPBSO).   Contact PPBSO if you're interested in competing in the Solo and/or Band Competitions.

For other information regarding the Pipe Bands and Solo competitions email us at northumberlandgamesinfo@gmail.com

Attention Band Members!

We’re  implementing a new entry gate dedicated only to band members this year. The gate is located on Elgin Street at the south end of the park.  Just show your PPBSO card and you’ll sail through!

Note that vehicles are not allowed into or out of the park on Saturday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Adppt a Band Program

Want to get up close and personal with a pipe and drum band? If you’re in the vicinity of the Port Hope Agricultural Park consider being part of our “Adopt a Band” program.  You’d allow a band to hang out in your yard to relax and practice before their competition and get an inside look into what makes a band tick.

If you’re interested, drop us a line at northumberlandgamesinfo@gmail.com for more details.
